Welcome to the Allen Family news site.  Cliff and Carolyn live in Playa del Rey, CA and are both geeks :-)

We're making ripples in the pond of life.  And I hope we'll cross your ripples, as well as we swim to the other shore.  Yep, I'm a nature enthusiast...and Cliff loves metaphors.

What We Do

Cliff is a communications kind of a guy, he loes helping people improve communications.  In fact we used to work with Lauren Elliott on some of his innovative websites and email services.  Cliff provided technical tools and I helped edit a variety of family newsletters back before Google was even a twinkle in someone's eye!

I'm a writer and publisher.  I write and edit a variety of nature, green, sustainable business and community websites such as CaliforniaGreenSolutions.com, BackyardNature.com , SunshineByDesign.com and a growing family of blogs that are "Solutions For ..." such as SolutionsForLEDLights.com, SolutionsForTrees.com, SolutionsForRemodeling.com and SolutionsforGreen.com .  I'm adding some consumer sites for seniors and women, as well.  Keep a watch out for great new ideas to read and share.
